Democrat Donkey Ornament

The Donkey is the emblem of the Democratic Party. Originally adopted in by Andrew Jackson as an allusion to his nickname, the association was further strengthened by political cartoonist Thomas Nast. The Donkey represents stubbornness, courage, intelligence and humility.
