The Original Snow Village

The Original Snow Village was built with the same traditions and values found in small towns across America – the shops and neighborhoods of main street, USA, continue to prosper and grow.

This village is inspired by the American landscape of the 1950s with a nostalgic look into a simpler time.

The core collectible village originated in 1976 with six simple lighted buildings.

Each piece is crafted of fine ceramic that is then hand decorated and hand painted by skilled artisans to the most exacting detail specifications of Department 56.
