Department 56 Snowbabies Collection New for 2025

For over 33 years Department 56® artist, Kristi Jensen Pierro captured the beauty and splendor of winter in her Snowbabies™’ designs. Her personal experiences are artfully designed into each Snowbabies’ piece and carefully named to ensure a sentiment of love, friendship or inspiration. “Each piece I design tells its own story. It’s the story that makes each Snowbabies’ figurine special and unique.”

Each year a brand new series of collections is introduced by Department 56 of these wonderful Snowbabies. From figures to ornaments and from simple sentiments to fantastic lit pieces, the Snowbabies of 2025 are practically purrfect in every way. Now with Kristi retired from Department 56 and from Snowbabies, this 2025 collection represents among the last of her art pieces.

Though her inspiration lives on, a new artist will be taking on this classic collection. But, don't fret, the sweet beauty and whimsical quality we all know and love in a Snowbaby piece will live on. Kristi has worked with her successor for years now and the transition will be near unnoticeable.
